Futureknight universe. A bistro in Paris. A girl day and goodbye.

Brenda dug through the amazing amount of tissue paper that the tiny pink shopping bag held, then held aloft the lovely bra that she'd bought at the last shop they'd hit before stopping to eat. "Is it me, or are we just too big for most of what's available? I mean... I never realized that there were lady's sizes below zero before."

Her eyes flicked toward a floating paparazzi camera and then rolled as she folded the garment and put it away. "I know for a fact that I'm not fat."

"I'm actually looking forward to that purple gown." Brenda chuckled and pushed through the door, ignoring the curious eyes of the other young socialites in the shop and thinking that Helena had seen modern fashion now, and that those girls had seen a better image.

"Even pinned together, hmm?" She grinned as she hopped into the waiting cab. "That blue silk that you picked really brings out your eyes. Did you come up with that design yourself?"

"Not actually," she said as she slid inside. "It was based off an old dress of Mom's. I just tweaked it to a slightly more updated style."

"Harvey'll like it too, I bet." She grinned and looked at her sideways as the door closed and the cab pulled away from the curb and then took off to fly toward the airport.
