DK-Verse: Batcave?: On the Road Again (and Again)

Great.  One moment she was in the Nexus--having previously been in a Gotham more than three hundred years in her future--the next she's in the Batcave.  Only... it's definitely not her Batcave.  Some of the souvenirs were off, for one thing.  And, well, she just had a sense about this kind of thing.

Truth be told, the more she examined it, the greater the differences became.  No giant penny, no mechanical dinosaur, no old Robin and Catwoman costumes stored in glass cases, no Batmobile--at least not that she recognized...

She was definitely far from home.

Helena looked around in wonder. "Whoa. This is... way better than anything we've got back home."

"Is it?" The redhead looked surprised as she turned her head to look around the back of her seat.

"Absolutely! I mean, okay, maybe some of the stuff like the Thanagarian technology the League's got is close, but this is real sci-fi stuff here."

"The cabin's fairly standard issue." She straightened and looked through the screen at Ace, who was looking back with a gentle look on his fanged mug. "Though the engine is Bruce's own design."

"Doesn't surprise me any. Dad designed nearly all of the equipment he used over the years."

"The computer is government issue." Pru looked beyond the Rancor to where the lights shone softly on its raised platform.

"Alright, seatbelts, everybody." Lon came in briskly, what looked like a black jedi robe with a scalloped hem falling carelessly from his shoulders.
