Gargoyles' reality. Castle Wyvern. Wedding bells.
Goliath looked out over the large room, his eyes resting on the gathering of the Manhattan clans and their friends and kin. Everyone was there but for their alternate brethren and Lex and Emily. The latter two were watching the event via closed-circuit television from Lex's hospital room, and the former... well, he hoped they were going to be here soon.
Behind him Hudson muttered and grumbled nervously, and he glanced over his shoulder. "Peace, old friend. All will be well."
"Sez the bloke that just hit the wall agin this verra mornin'," returned Hudson with uncharacteristic heat, then sighed and turned away to pace.
Goliath closed the door to the groom's room and walked over to pour the old gargoyle a drink of the wine that David had brought in earlier.
That worthy individual was contemplating the window, his hands folded behind his back. "Claw's new wife is a lovely woman."
"Aye." Hudson knocked back his drink and slumped into a chair. "Part 'o me's wishin' Lucy 'n I had just done as they did."
"No you're not," said Goliath calmly. "You decided on this for Lucy."
"Aye." The old one sighed.

Maria looked at Katana, her green eyes dancing with mischief. "He thinks we're gonna hurt him for talkin'."
Icy looked up at the older girl and returned the smile tremulously. "Thank you."

Katana's expression was more unreadable, but her dark eyes also held mischief. "Then I have trained him well."
Delilah continued to smile. "You will sit next to me and Malibu, yes?"
no subject
"Hey, no, baby, he was just... ow!" Brooklyn winced as she reached up and smacked him upside the head.
"You and the other guys wanna sit with me?" Ryan asked Guinevere, his gaze taking in all the other teens of the visiting clans. "We can grab the back row."
Icy paused in nodding to Delilah to blink.

Guinevere nodded, after a moment. "That would be... fine. Lexington? Broadway? Angela?" The last name was uttered a bit awkwardly, showcasing her discomfort around her "daughter."
"Fine by me," Lex said, with nods from the other two.
"Is something wrong?" Delilah asked.

Icy shook her head, then tilted it as Ryan pointed to herself, and Delilah and the other clones.
"You want to come too?" he asked.
no subject
Delilah nodded. "I would like that very much." The other clones threw in their own agreement.

Brooklyn glanced at his older alter, then looked hopefully at Maria, only to get a thumb in the ribs for his trouble before she went to join the other teens.
"Brooklyn, Broadway... Brooklyn!" Elisa's mother stopped in the doorway for a moment, then bustled over and started fastening the red gargoyle's buttons and fixing his tie. "Honestly, even Franklin's trying to stay neat."
Brooklyn looked very sheepish.

Elisa couldn't help but laugh at "her" mother fussing over Brooklyn. The more things changed... the more other things stayed the same.

"Fwah!"
Careful observation might have noticed an ever so slightly uncomfortable look passing over Derek's face.

"Nothing," Derek said, shaking his head. "Nothing."
