Goliath looked out over the large room, his eyes resting on the gathering of the Manhattan clans and their friends and kin. Everyone was there but for their alternate brethren and Lex and Emily. The latter two were watching the event via closed-circuit television from Lex's hospital room, and the former... well, he hoped they were going to be here soon.

Behind him Hudson muttered and grumbled nervously, and he glanced over his shoulder. "Peace, old friend. All will be well."

"Sez the bloke that just hit the wall agin this verra mornin'," returned Hudson with uncharacteristic heat, then sighed and turned away to pace.

Goliath closed the door to the groom's room and walked over to pour the old gargoyle a drink of the wine that David had brought in earlier.

That worthy individual was contemplating the window, his hands folded behind his back. "Claw's new wife is a lovely woman."

"Aye." Hudson knocked back his drink and slumped into a chair. "Part 'o me's wishin' Lucy 'n I had just done as they did."

"No you're not," said Goliath calmly. "You decided on this for Lucy."

"Aye." The old one sighed.

The teens and clones had been joined by the local Delilah and Burbank, and a few other human kids from the Labyrinth and from Lex and Ryan's school, and now held down the entire second to back row. The visiting gargoyle girls were surrounded by human girls, who were offering handfuls of beads and the thread to string them on. Nash was in the process of receiving a noogie from a good-natured looking football type.

Diane pointed to the last row. "This is where I'm sitting, with the parents with small babies. But there are seats further up, too."

She looked at the visiting Maggie and Derek as she said this.

"We can sit back here then," Maggie said.

All together, Gargoyle, Mutate, and Clone, were... just a bit confused. Even with some of their interactions with the People for Inter-Species Tolerance, the level of acceptance that this other Clan enjoyed was... staggering.

Diane smiled and made sure everyone was arranged properly, then sat down with a sigh and rocked Hope a little. "Look at all the people. Who would have thought that Uncle Hudson had so many people who'd want to come and laugh at him as he tries not to pass out in his tuxedo?"

"Mom...." Her youngest daughter shook her head at her.

Diane just chuckled.
