Gargoyles' reality. Castle Wyvern. Wedding bells.
Goliath looked out over the large room, his eyes resting on the gathering of the Manhattan clans and their friends and kin. Everyone was there but for their alternate brethren and Lex and Emily. The latter two were watching the event via closed-circuit television from Lex's hospital room, and the former... well, he hoped they were going to be here soon.
Behind him Hudson muttered and grumbled nervously, and he glanced over his shoulder. "Peace, old friend. All will be well."
"Sez the bloke that just hit the wall agin this verra mornin'," returned Hudson with uncharacteristic heat, then sighed and turned away to pace.
Goliath closed the door to the groom's room and walked over to pour the old gargoyle a drink of the wine that David had brought in earlier.
That worthy individual was contemplating the window, his hands folded behind his back. "Claw's new wife is a lovely woman."
"Aye." Hudson knocked back his drink and slumped into a chair. "Part 'o me's wishin' Lucy 'n I had just done as they did."
"No you're not," said Goliath calmly. "You decided on this for Lucy."
"Aye." The old one sighed.

Guinevere gave Icy a sympathetic look. "It is... all right. I find all this quite startling as well."
At another table, Delilah gave her counterpart a curious look. "It is very strange. We are pretty much the same person, yet we look almost nothing alike."
Perhaps an over simplification, given that both resembled Elisa. One simply lacked any of Demona in her DNA.

Del cocked her head, then tossed her hair out of her eyes. "We are not quite the same. You are all Elisa, but I am a mixture."
no subject
Delilah nodded. "Yes. You are... part Demona?"
no subject
"Yes." Del looked down at her plate, quirking a slight smile for Burbank as he reached out automatically and squeezed her hand.

It was Malibu who spoke up. "Where are..." And a quick gesture indicated Hollywood and Brentwood. "Where are us?"
no subject
Burbank bowed his head as Del put a hand over her mouth. "They died."
no subject
Hollywood reached out and bopped him lightly on the head. "Not us us, other us!"
"Ooooh."
Guinevere's eyes went wide as well. "This smells... wonderful!"
Elisa, meanwhile, hide an amused smile behind her hand, and shared a look with her counterpart. "Apparently, cake is the answer to everything."
no subject
Del closed her eyes and turned away from her cake.
Icy, on the other hand, had discovered the little golden charm that hers was adorned with and was trying with all the difficulty of one who's seen very few portrayals in her life, to work out what the tiny ornament was supposed to represent.
"Heh," said Elisa, looking at her own. "I got a heart, Big Guy. Want it?"
"Have I not already got your heart?" Goliath looked up, brows lifted.
no subject
"Well, what?"
"Aren't you going to try and top that?"
"My love for you is so deep and true that I could not attempt to sully it by dragging it into a competition."
Elisa smirked the smirk of someone who believe's she's just won.
"I... We are sorry," Delilah said. "I am sure they did not mean to remind you of your pain."
Guinevere gave the charm a curious look too. "It... does not appear to be food," she said. "But why is it here?"
no subject
Elisa leaned against him and looked at her twin with dancing eyes. "Isn't it?"
"I know," breathed Del, leaning against Burbank as he gently rubbed her back and wrapped a wing around her.
"It's a party favor." A passing waiter paused to tell Guinevere and Icy. "A gift from the bride and groom to their guests."
"But what is it?" Icy turned the little dove over and frowned at it.

The other Burbank looked rather confused. "You two... together?"
This, at least, Guinevere could help with. "I believe it is some kind of bird."
