Gargoyles' reality. Castle Wyvern. Wedding bells.
Goliath looked out over the large room, his eyes resting on the gathering of the Manhattan clans and their friends and kin. Everyone was there but for their alternate brethren and Lex and Emily. The latter two were watching the event via closed-circuit television from Lex's hospital room, and the former... well, he hoped they were going to be here soon.
Behind him Hudson muttered and grumbled nervously, and he glanced over his shoulder. "Peace, old friend. All will be well."
"Sez the bloke that just hit the wall agin this verra mornin'," returned Hudson with uncharacteristic heat, then sighed and turned away to pace.
Goliath closed the door to the groom's room and walked over to pour the old gargoyle a drink of the wine that David had brought in earlier.
That worthy individual was contemplating the window, his hands folded behind his back. "Claw's new wife is a lovely woman."
"Aye." Hudson knocked back his drink and slumped into a chair. "Part 'o me's wishin' Lucy 'n I had just done as they did."
"No you're not," said Goliath calmly. "You decided on this for Lucy."
"Aye." The old one sighed.

And Broadway noticed Franklin and left the cake to go distract him from Delilah, only to frown slightly as Franklin did his usual scared stiff reaction to him.

Delilah gave Franklin a concerned look. "Franklin? What is wrong?"
no subject
"You mean like Atlantis?" Elisa frowned at her counterpart.
"Nothing," said the big clone meekly, his eyes on the floor.
Broadway looked bewildered, but gently steered him away from the girl.

And once she was satisfied Goliath had stepped out of earshot to talk to the now very perplexed looking Delilah, she went on.
"And then there's Guinevere. She's a good kid, really, but she spend a lot of time being depressed or making doe-eyes at Goliath. And there's that temper of hers..."

Franklin escaped at the first possible moment and went to sit with Hollywood. Two big spooked looking guys on the same couch.

Hollywood looked over at Franklin. "Why girls no make sense?"

Then he leaned forward slightly and peered at Icy and Hope. "Wow... she's sleeping?"
"Take her out on a patrol and have a talk with her?" suggested Elisa.

He too looks over. "Sleep like baby."
Elisa nodded. "Yeah. I need to have a good Gargoyle to Gargoyle, woman to woman talk with her, really."

"And don't worry about the temper. Remember when Mom told you you couldn't date what'shisface anymore?" Elisa grinned at the memory, though she was still shocked at exactly what she'd said to her mother.

Elisa had the good sense to look at least a little embarrassed by the memory. "Oh, man. That takes me back."
