Gargoyles 'Verse: Hospital: One Lex, Two Lex, Garg Lex...

Hospitals were a strange place for Lexington.  He'd never actually been in one before, after all.  The hustle and bustle of people, people who were, for the most part, ignoring him (though one would occasionally do a double-take, as though they almost recognized him), was a strange and even somewhat heady experience.

Of course, what made it truly strange was that he was here to see himself.  A self that was human, had been fully accepted to the human world, even had a girlfriend.  He still lived a life in the shadows, and though there were three unattached females now a part of the Clan, he had yet to forge a relationship of any significance with any of them.  Guinevere seemed torn between staying loyal to the Goliath she had left behind and (and he had only heard this by accident, when she had thought she was alone, talking to herself) forming a relationship with Franklin from this universe.  The other two were simply too new to him to be anything more than a casual friend.

But here he was, off to see this reality's version of himself, in the company of Franklin.

"Well, I guess," he said, rubbing the back of his head uncertainly. "I mean, she's definitely cute..."

"What does she look like?" Emily caught the hand and squeezed it gently, which earned her a grin from Lex.

"She's probably about as tall as me, give or take. Blue... a real vivid blue, not light like Guin. Got a ball of fur on the end of her tail. And..."

He struggled to find a polite way to describe Icy's slight plumpness.

"She's from where it was really cold. So she's built for it."

Emily looked down at her own non supermodel frame and grinned. "More to hug."

"Em!" Lex blushed.

Lex blinked in surprise. "I guess that's a good way to think about it."

Lex blushed harder. Emily laughed at him.

And the other Lex blushed too!

"Be nice." Franklin frowned at Emily reprovingly.

"Sorry." She sobered.

Lex waved a hand. "Aw, it's all right."

"It's alright, Frankie," Lex agreed with his twin, then turned back to that gargoyle. "So, little and cute. What are her hair and eyes like?"

"Her hair's white," Lex said. "And her eyes are kinda blue-ish."

"So she kinda looks like toothpast?"

Emily would have swatted Lex if he were stronger. The look she gave him said so.

"Uh... I guess? Don't really know about toothpaste."
