((Morning after the Ratchet fixing.))

It's dark and still in Ratchet and Endeavour's room. All is calm, all is quiet....

Till something blows up massively in the front courtyard.

Ratchet goes from soundly offline to sitting up and ready to roar at Ironhide, only to stop short as he remembers that such vocal exertions might startle a certain unborn spark and cause her mother discomfort. Instead he listens to Jazz scolding and looks down at his sparkmate to see how she reacted to the explosion.

Ratchet makes a small sound of sympathy and moves so that he can offer her a hand up. "Are you alright?"

She would be, if she could stop laughing. Instead she curls up into a ball on the floor, holding her torso components and being generally full of mirth.

He watches her for a moment, then chuckles and stands to scoop her onto her feet and hug her. "Good morning, Dev."

He gets her standing upright, but she leans against him, still laughing. "Morning."

Supporting her causes his aches and pains to protest, but he doesn't comment, instead smiling up at her with twinkling optics. "Ironhide's an aft."

More laughter as she meets his optics. "Tell me something I don't know."

She straightens and grins. "You're looking good today. For a change."

His smile widens and he leans up to give her a kiss. "How's Columbia?"

"She's getting exponentially antsier, but other than that, she's fine."

In other words, their daughter would like to come out now, plzthx.

"Let's go see if we can't do something about that." He takes her hand and turns toward the door.

"Are you sure you're feeling up to it?" Endeavour frowns slightly.

"It's not heavy work." He pauses to look through the open door of Jazz and Bee's room, and nods approvingly as he spots Bee curled on her side snuggling Honey, however, a glance into the femmes' dorm makes him frown with concern as he fails to see Arcee. "She shouldn't be up, her fuel systems are so corroded that she needs to rest and heal."

"I didn't exactly have time to threaten to weld her to the ceiling," Endeavour says dryly. "I'm sure she's taking it easy... somewhere."
