Transformers-'Verse. Nellis AFB. Early in the morning, I wake to the boom.....

((Morning after the Ratchet fixing.))

It's dark and still in Ratchet and Endeavour's room. All is calm, all is quiet....

Till something blows up massively in the front courtyard.

Ratchet goes from soundly offline to sitting up and ready to roar at Ironhide, only to stop short as he remembers that such vocal exertions might startle a certain unborn spark and cause her mother discomfort. Instead he listens to Jazz scolding and looks down at his sparkmate to see how she reacted to the explosion.

She frowns as well, slightly embarrassed by her lack of organization.

"A few. We loaded me up in fullmode twice."

Translation: a lot of stuff.

"I wasn't about to start putting things on the shelf while you were..." She clears static from her vocalizer. "You know. While you were gone."

He winces as he remembers his unexpected trip to the Nexus, but musters a smile for her. "I don't think we have enough shelves. But we can organize the piles."

Then he looks toward Columbia and chuckles again. "Aren't you thirsty?"

She stops mid-exploration and trains her blue-white optics on her father. "Oh yeah..."

He digs out a pair of drinking cubes and fills them, making sure that the spouts are in order. But then he stops. "Where's your fuel intake?"

Columbia dilates her optics and begins searching herself (looking strangely like a human trying to find his or her wallet). She finally finds the intake high up on her right hip.

"Right here." She frowns. "Is that... normal?"
