((Morning after the Ratchet fixing.))

It's dark and still in Ratchet and Endeavour's room. All is calm, all is quiet....

Till something blows up massively in the front courtyard.

Ratchet goes from soundly offline to sitting up and ready to roar at Ironhide, only to stop short as he remembers that such vocal exertions might startle a certain unborn spark and cause her mother discomfort. Instead he listens to Jazz scolding and looks down at his sparkmate to see how she reacted to the explosion.

There's a shriek of metal as Endeavour plants her foot and turns around to face Ironhide. She looks over her shoulder; Columbia seems to be fine.

"Alright." She steps back into the workshop. "What's going on?"

Ratchet slips an arm around her waist and draws her slightly away from the door, waiting.

Ironhide sighs. "He doesn't remember anything. Jazz says he only knows his name because someone told it to him. So if someone calls for him we're to tell them that the Prime is away for awhile."

"And if someone comes and actually sees a mini that looks just like him?" Ratchet frowns.

"I don't know." Ironhide scowls. "Epps will be wondering, and Captain Lennox will be here by tomorrow."

Ratchet looks toward the courtyard again, thinking.

She looks troubled. "That could be... tricky to deal with. Has Jazz decided what to do if the LOL is... permanent?"

yeah, she said "lawl". Dev is, after all, well versed in the ways of cat macros and netspeak

"He's still thinking on it." Ironhide sighs and looks over his shoulder. "Oh, she's beautiful, congratulations."

Ratchet blinks, then smiles slightly. "Thank you."

Endeavour blushes slightly, then grins. "Yeah. Thanks. Do you want us to come outside?"

"I don't know." It's a stressed growl. "Ratchet might be able to help Jazz think."

"I don't know, he's always been one to think for himself," says Ratchet uncertainly, wondering at how quiet the second in command is being compared to usual.

And not for the first time Endeavour feels strangely out of place. "I'll just... go back to doing what I was doing. Comm me if Columbia starts being a handful."

She turns to go back to the far corner of the workshop.
