Transformers-'verse. Near the mouth of the wormhole. Slapdown on a slimeball.

The space near the mouth of the wormhole was silent and empty but for the jet that hovered a safe distance from its mouth. Occasionally a bit of drifting junk would get sucked into it, but nothing else moved.

Then four mechs appeared out of nowhere; two burly black ones, a yellow one with red markings, and a femme that shone blindingly white in the unfiltered light of the sun.

Instantly the jet shifted position, creeping near. //Autobots! What do you want?//

//You,// said the yellow one grimly, folding his arms over his chest. //You've killed your last Autobot, Starscream.//

//And who's going to take me?// The jet's voice was mocking. //You don't even have any who have aerial modes.//

//Oh don't we?// The yellow one gave a clear smirk despite the relative immobility of his face.

And then she decloaked....

"Okay. Universe ID is 00215, coordinates are 47.701599 and -59.309388. Trans-Canada Highway near MacDougall's Brook, Wreckhouse, Republic of Newfoundland."

She nods at Uzulee. "Watch Elita for us. We're bringing Dev back."

"Ratch, calm down," Jeimu says after activating her own PINpoint and assessing the situation, sounding rather aggravated. "He's a friend of mine. Perfectly fine."

She doesn't bother with pleasantries and doesn't even say hello to Sal, who's lingering at the old train bridge with a few other NRAF personnel.

It could be worse, Jeimu reasoned. Dev could be in pieces. As it was right now, she was just bent ever so slightly in the contour of the brook bed. The highway was torn up and there was a large gouge in the scrubby plains next to Endeavour.

"Hm. Guess the landing gear didn't work. And her wing bounced... oh." Said wing - the left-hand one, emblazoned with the modified meatball logo - was bent at a very weird angle. It was a testament to the hardiness of Cybertronian bodies, because if Dev had been just a space shuttle and nothing more, that wing would have been gone.
