Elisa-garg's reality. Castle Wyvern. Smells like Christmas.

It has been a busy night at Castle Wyvern. Much discussing has happened in the dining room, and no one really noticed the quiet little busyness that passed to and fro during the meeting, asking about words on the cookbook pages that she held.

But now the meeting has broken up, patrols have set out, the television jabbers comfortably.

And the kitchen smells really good.

"We got lucky. We just woke up from our sleep knowing English, back when we first came to New York. Goliath thinks Demona probably used some kind of spell."

Lex nods. "Elisa said something about how the Archmage's magic didn't work on you..."

"Confuses the heck out of me too... Never heard anything like it."

Lex regards her curiously, but without laughter. Gargoyles, traditionally, didn't have much of a concept of religion, especially not as the humans knew it. Oh, they had their own beliefs, to be certain, but nothing quite of the nature most humans had. There were, of course, exceptions to everything--he understood that many members of the London Clan tended toward it, but the Scottish breed had typically encountered such resistance from human priests--who often accused them of being devils--that they tended to shun it.

"Oh," he says, finally, not sure of what to add to that.
