Elisa-garg's reality. Castle Wyvern. Smells like Christmas.

It has been a busy night at Castle Wyvern. Much discussing has happened in the dining room, and no one really noticed the quiet little busyness that passed to and fro during the meeting, asking about words on the cookbook pages that she held.

But now the meeting has broken up, patrols have set out, the television jabbers comfortably.

And the kitchen smells really good.

She sighs with relief.

Then hides again.

"Uh, you know, I can just get some pie later," Broadway says, backing out of the room.

Silence falls over the kitchen.

Then Icy stirs slightly. "Did we just break Broadway's brain?"

Lex laughs out loud. "You know, I think we did."

She chuckles, then looks at the clock. "Is that the time for the old cowboy show?"

Lex checks and then thinks for a minute. "I think it is."

Icy lets him go to hop up onto the counter and cut two thick wedges of cake, then comes back down again and offers him one.

Lex takes the offered cake and leads the way to the living room, holding the door open. "After you, m'lady."

"Thank you." She purples demurely as she walks past him, but then pauses to wait for him, her free hand reaching out slightly as the urge to go underneath some piece of furniture comes back.

Lex takes her hand in his and leads her to the couch.

She climbs up beside him, then snuggles close and nibbles her cake as she watches him turn on the TV.

And so the two settle in for a nice evening of TV and dessert.
