Transformers' verse: Nellis AFB - The Workshop
She's not sure how she got the energon warm, but it was delightfully satisfying as she sipped it on this cold late morning.
Someone really should have told Endeavour that deserts can get cold, because she certainly wasn't expecting to wake up to a frosted-over compound - not to mention the fact that she had to use lock de-icer on the Workshop outer door earlier today. It was substantially warmer now that the sun was up, but it was still a little chilly.
Didn't stop the kids from going outdoors and having Ratchet explain more of the mysteries of the planet to them, though. She wonders just how he's keeping track of all four of the younglings out there, and shakes her head in wonder. Changing her position slightly in her chair, she stares down at her companion, who has likewise chosen to partake in warm drinks.
"It's quiet."

"She's improving at a steady rate. Soon we'll have a go at doing some actual repair work."

The moment that became apparent she immediately messaged Ratchet. //Okay, now what?//

Elita's optics light faintly and she turns her head toward the movements that she senses.

//Elita's coming back online,// she says brusquely. //So what do you want me to do?//

"Hi," she says quietly. "Looks like you found us all. Just - move slowly for now. Don't worry, you're not in any danger here."
She tilts her head and waits for some kind of response.

She growls softly, causing Uzulee's eyebrows to shoot upward.

She feeds Elita the party line about Optimus, as she figures it's best if someone like Jazz does all the explaining about that one.

Elita starts at the sound. "(What?)"
"Um. I'll go see what I can do," says Uzulee softly as she sets down her mug. Then she changes to cat and leaps from the table.

"Honey and Op just PINpointed somewhere," says Uzulee as she changes and heads for the living room.

Then she calls after Uzulee, "How'd they manage that?"

//I called Jazz. Bumblebee's gone to look in the Nexus.// Ratchet sits up and grumbles. //She took my PINpoint.//
"(Is something wrong with Jazz and Bumblbee's sparkling?)" Elita frowns.

She looks over at her sparkmate with a twinkle in her optics. //Well, you'll just have to keep it somewhere secret from now on, won't you?//

Elita's energy is fading, but she has questions still. "(Optimus... Jazz says he's not well...?)"
The concern and love in her voice is clear, as is the longing.

Oh great. Now what do I do?

She looks at Elita and winces.
Oh I am so dead.

"(It's going to fade,)" says Ratchet hurriedly as her vital signs flicker slightly. "(Jazz says these things aren't permanent.)"

"(Tired,)" she whispers, feeling like someone sat an asteroid on her.
He nods and grabs the painkiller, then knocks her out.
"Not your fault, Dev," he says as he sets the override tool down.

She grabs another sample from her inbox and holds it up, ready to begin her analysis, then lays it back down on the desk and sits back with a sigh.
"I was instructed not to say anything," she says quietly.

Dev says nothing, but she wonders if she is strong enough to watch this cycle of hurt-and-repair happen time and time again.
