She looks up at her husband the moment her feet hit the ground. The air is slightly cool; dusk has fallen and there's the distinct aroma of salt on the air. Typical seaside night.

"So," she says quietly, "what exactly did you say to him?"

"I know..." Still, she looks vaguely uneasy about the fact.

Jav can feel this, and it makes his anger cool into uncertainty. "Did I mess up?"

"Not sure." She actually laughs. "He needed to be told to stop, but I'm just wondering how this'll affect how I get on with the others, that's all."

"Oh." He frowns.

"Whatever, they probably wanted me out of their hair anyway."

"#$%#$%#%# uppity droids." He grumbles, then looks up as Vic sticks a sandwich in their faces.

"They're not droids," Jeimu says, taking half of the sandwich and stuffing it into her mouth. "They're sentient."

"Still mechanical." He gets the other half and makes half of it disappear.
