She looks up at her husband the moment her feet hit the ground. The air is slightly cool; dusk has fallen and there's the distinct aroma of salt on the air. Typical seaside night.

"So," she says quietly, "what exactly did you say to him?"

Asuka freezes, backs up a few steps and tilts her head way back to look at the giant yellow thing.

It's talking. And it doesn't taste like people. And it's going to try and touch her.

She growls deeply at Ratchet, ears pressed back.

"No? Alright." He keeps up the soft patter as he withdraws his hand and sets it on the ground. "I probably smell like George... somewhere." A check of his other hand. "Ah, there it is. But I won't invade your space."

Yes, Ratchet is a suck about puppies:p

Asuka tramples down a circle right in front of his foot and then stops.

And sneezes. Then she trots over to Jeimu and sits, the epitome of a Good Dog.

Jeimu just laughs and pets her on the head.

"So you're a dog person."

"We got a puppy for Christmas as well." He doesn't take his attention from Asuka. "You saw him at the party."

"Yes, but it could easily have been Dev who was the dog person..."

"Actually, she wanted a cat." He looks up at his sparkmate apologetically. "But I couldn't find another after Mischief left."

"Well. The more I know, I guess."

"Yes." Ratchet pauses and looks down at her uncertainly. "This isn't just an elaborate trick to get me to lower my guard so that when you hit me with the paint and eggs it will be more amusing?"
