Future'Bot's verse. Amy's apartment. Day two of the squishy Sludge LOL.

Amy rolls over, then sits up and looks around before hopping up out of her bed. It's the work of a moment to fold up the couch and stow her bedding, and then she's brushing her hair as she tiptoes over on small bare feet to the big air mattress that's on the open floor space by the balcony door.

"Sludge?" she says softly, sitting on the side of it carefully so that she doesn't rock him. "Are you awake? Do you want breakfast?"

Sludge grumbles as he comes into the waking world and smiles softly when he opens his eyes to Amy. "Mm? Breakfast ready?"

She strokes his head and leans down to kiss him on the cheek. "A few minutes to warm it up. How are you feeling?"

"Bed like sleeping on shuttle." He sits up and returns the kiss. "Me, Sludge liked."

Amy grins and starts to hug him, but then pauses and offers him his shirt instead.

Sludge nods and takes the shirt. Which he struggles to get over his head.

She watches for a moment, but then remembers that clothes are a new thing for him and puts a hand on his arm. "Wait, Sludge, let me help."

He blushes and nods. "Sure." He holds his arms out for her.

It's the work of a few deft movements to get the sleeves in place and the shirt over his head, and then she's smoothing it and smiling up at him with shining eyes, just happy to be with him.

Sludge smiles back and pulls her into his arms for a hug. "Me love Amy-girl."

"I love you too." She hides her face against his chest as her arms go around him. "I called the director at my volunteer position, so I don't have to go to work today."

Just stay here, hang out... maybe drag him into the kitchen and see if she can over feed him.

Sludge cuddles her close and almost rumbles with deep satisfaction. "You, Amy-girl wanna do something?"

And then his stomach grumbles.

She laughs and looks up at him. "Yes. Feed you!"

Sludge smiles broadly and tickles Amy before attempting to get up. "You make lots then! Me, Sludge hungry!"

She squirms a bit and laughs, then hops to her feet and heads for the kitchenette. "Don't worry, there's plenty."

He rises and follows her to the kitchen. "Amy have small house."

"I'm a small person." She chuckles from where she's got her head stuck in the small freezer in the corner, gathering up packages.

"Then it good for Amy." He grins, which quickly transforms into a worried frown.

"Here, will you take these for me?" She lifts her head to offer a container, then blinks. "What's wrong?"

"How me, Sludge make house for Amy and Sludge, that fit us just right?"

"Make...?" She sets the container down on the corner of the freezer, trying to understand what he's saying.

"Bluestreak say that when bots marry, they have to make a house." He says still frowning. "Amy small, Sludge big."

She starts as she gets it, then squeaks as her hand slips on the edge of the freezer and dumps her into it head first.

And Sludge is already looming over her trying to help her get up and out. "AMY! You okay?"

Her hands fist on the front of his shirt as he gets her out, and if she were human she'd be shaking with reaction. Instead she leans against him and blinks as her processor clears. "Yes... yes, I'm okay."

He holds her to him as he gently brushes any ice or food particles off her hair.
