Starforge looks up from where he's building a bunk in one of the spare rooms of what will be he and Arcee's new quarters. "Hunter! Knock it off. Now."

"Ah." He hunkers down and looks beneath it himself. -Think, Ironhide. What would you say to Honey in this situation?-

He stands again and walks over to sit on the bunk. "Should we test it and make sure?"

"Um, ok," he said, backing away as his grandfather approached.

Then he snuck in a scan, feeling a little better when he realized the gun he'd designed the last night would, in fact, fit onto his grandfather's build.

"No, come here," says Ironhide with gruff gentleness as he reaches for the sparkling. "You need to sit on it too."

"Oh. Ok," he said, slowly approaching, the skittish nature of a colt in his movements. He carefully climbed up, then took the mouse off his shoulder and lowered it, looking through it's optics. "Everything seems to be holding up, sir," he said.

"Good work." He puts an arm around the boy's shoulders and gives him a squeeze of approval, then looks at the mouse. "What's this?"

"This is my friend," he said softly, looking at it, then ordering it to sit upright on his palm, though he only half held it out. "I finished him this morning."

He didn't want to offer it too forward, worried he'd be laughed at. Reflecting this inner fear the mouse cowered slightly, though it watched Ironhide intently all the same.

Ironhide's optics narrow with curiosity, and he puts out a finger to see what the little machine will do. "You made this."

"Y...yeah... Ratchet gamme some stuff t' play with," the sparkling barely vocalized.

The mouse cringed at first, then slowly reached out, sniffing the finger before putting a paw against it.
