Starforge looks up from where he's building a bunk in one of the spare rooms of what will be he and Arcee's new quarters. "Hunter! Knock it off. Now."

Starforge does so quickly and carefully, then gets the mess on the floor before taking the bucket to the sink and emptying it. "Now we jes' gotta git me cleaned up."

"Can I do it?" Sunhunter asked gleefully.

"Only if ya do it right." Starforge starts refilling the bucket.

"I will, dad, don't worry," he grinned.

"Without makin' a bigger mess, or stickin' the mop in my face."

He sighed, but nodded and looked a little more serious.

"I promise," he said.

"Or in my audials. Or my air intakes."

"I'll just clean you off like you cleaned me, dad. Don't you believe me?" he asked innocently.

Starforge looks at him for a long moment, then answers honestly but without a lot of thought.

"No."

"Well, ok," Sunhunter sighed. "But I promise I won't do nuthin' bad or stupid, I promise promise."

"Ya better not. Or I'll tell yer gramma." He hands him the human-sized bucket and mop.

He took the tools carefully and washed his father, barely managing to contain himself.

When he was finished he sighed and handed it back quickly.

"I'm not afraid of her," he grumbled.

"Well I am. 'N so's Ironhide." He takes the bucket and gives his son a sheepish grin.
