Nexus. A bench near a stone arch. A different take on things
Threnody is unaware of the symphony of bird song occurring over her head and all around her. She's paying no mind to the local rodent population, though there's a squirrel sitting on her foot right at this moment. She has no attention to spare for the bright forms of the flowers that are scattered throughout the undergrowth and the grass of the little forest glade she's found. Most of her attention is focused on the tiny construction of paper and various colouring chemicals that she holds between her fingertips.
Cyclonus would be non-plussed, and Scourge would be quietly and uncomprehendingly supportive if they found her now, but she's used to those reactions when her friends find her with a book.

"You brought back our leader." Threnody looked at the white mech with a quizzical frown. "But you are dead."
"So's your glorious leader," grumbles Ratchet. "She could have just told me she had unfinished business."
"But what fun would that have been?" comes Galvatron's laughing voice from the entrance.
Ratchet scowls toward where Cyclonus is standing with a Galvatron's grin on his face. "Do you know how weird that looks?"
"I don't care!" She brushes off his words with an abrupt gesture. "I'm home now. You can go."
Ratchet gives her a look and she scowls back, undaunted.
"Don't push your luck," says the white mech softly. "I can see how you're needed here right now. But you have no hold over this world anymore. You can get your house in order, but you can't change anything else."
Cyclonus's chin rises proudly as his face twists into Galvatron's smirk. "We'll see how much I can change."

"Yeah. We will." Ratchet's got a half smirk on his face now.
Galvatron snorts and ignores him, her optics focusing instead on Threnody, who actually shrinks a little from that gaze and draws closer to Scourge.
"Don't hide on him," says Galvatron, mockery in her voice. "He'll only run and hide."
"He's got good reason." Ratchet's voice isn't humorous now.
Galvatron ignores him as she reaches out with Cyclonus's hand and pulls their creation to her feet. "So... I hear you're kind and gentle...."
"No," protests the native Scourge, then sends Runamuck scurrying out of the courtyard with a look.
"You helped a stranger when he ran from you and got himself stuck in a hole."
"Not a stranger," says Threnody evenly, though she's still shrinking slightly. "Scourge. And Scourge is always loyal."
"He's not your Scourge!" Galvatron cuffs her soundly, ignoring the native Scourge's gasp.

"Don't worry," says Ratchet's voice in his audio receiver. "You're safe... wow!"
Threnody pushes away, her optics snapping with anger. "No one strikes me!"
"Maybe that's the problem!" counters Galvatron, grabbing her again and moving to punch her in the face, only to flip and land on Cyclonus's face as her creation lashes out with a foot.

Just to see if it will work, he tries to contact the female Scourge using his own frequency. If it doesn't work, he'll wind up hearing his own voice in his head. If it does, maybe they can work something out.
