Nexus and Auspex's reality. Park by the sign and the sanctuary. Enter Bob

There's a flash and an explosion over the Nexus... and very few people look up other than to ascertain that whatever just went boom isn't coming down on their heads. It's not, so they go about their business as though nothing has happened.

Whatever it is streaks toward the park and leaves a smoking crater as it hits.

And a soft, wordless alarm call sounds in a certain priestess's spark.

*Auspex shakes her head a bit* I don't know... *she gazes sadly at the unconscious mech, before turning to more directly address her friend* Thank you for helping, Hormah. Primus led me here, but I couldn't understand why; they both seemed dead...

So... *Auspex looks up at Hormah's 'assistant'* Who is your companion? *She smiles, giving him a little nod*

*Sponge...? No, she probably doesn't want to know.*

"What? I's supposeda jes tell ye t' #@%#$#@ yerself 'n go off me own way?" The younger femme snorts without looking away from what she's doing, her usual cheerful impertinence reasserting itself though she's still praying. Then she pauses to look in the box and pull out a portable spark booster, totally oblivious to Auspex's question.

It's the young mech who replies as he hunkers nearby, ready to help. "I'm her brother. Requiem."

*her little chuckle is somewhat strained* I suppose not. But I am still thankful.

...brother? *the hybrid tech...* ...oh, not the couch again? Blackout? *she gazes up at the mech again, thoughtfully* And you do look somewhat familiar, at least your helm design does... and it's not Blackout's.

He nods, avoiding her optics. "The couch. And Blackout is the creator we share, yes. My other one is a mech named Skywarp." Sadness and slight guilt come from him as he thinks of his boss laying there in her niche back at the base.

Hormah has the spark booster hooked up and the two mechs separated, and now she's dismantling the red one slightly for parts, her face set and intent as she works. This isn't something she likes doing, but she can see that if she takes the time to go find new parts that the purple seeker's life could be endangered.

...ohh. Skywarp. From Thrust and Snowcat's reality... that explains the familiarity. I've spoken with him a few times. *she blinkblinks, boggling somewhat at the couch's talent for catching some rather mismatched people unawares. But she catches his emotions, and frowns sympathetically* What is it? You can't blame yourself for your existence; very few can. *she smiles gently*

*Auspex glances over at Hormah again, and offers prayers for her. It's unpleasant work, not only looking at the dead mech, but taking him apart... she shudders slightly, though she reminds herself that he's not there anymore; it's only a shell. Still, she can sense Hormah's discomfort* Is there anything I can do? *she voices her question in a soft tone*

He blinks and looks down at her, his crimson optics grave as the guilt fades and lets his constant concern show itself. "I don't blame myself for my existence."

That concern is not unlike what's been coming from Hormah during her recent visits to the sanctuary. Blackout's illness weighs heavily on both young mechs, though Hormah hasn't mentioned it to her friend.

The young femme blinks slightly as Primus pokes her, and glances briefly toward Auspex before returning to her hurried application of field patches. "Eh?"

Auspex tilts her head, brow furrowed* You feel guilt for... something, though.

*she repeats her question to Hormah* Can I do anything? Besides pray, of course. *her expression is somewhat anxious*

Hormah pauses to review her work, then sighs. "Will ye take 'im t' the sanct'ary? Requiem'll do t' haulin' if ye needs. I's gonna go find someone as knows what 'er doin'."

*She gazes dubiously at the seeker* Is he stable enough for that, do you think? I don't want to damage him further...

Hormah reaches into the box and pulls out a set of anti gravity devices, which she sticks gently to the shattered shell.

"That will keep him from being moved around too much," she says in Cybertronian. "I've got him as stable as I can... but I don't know enough to repair him myself. I think that even unconscious he'll sense if he's somewhere comfortable... Blackout's vitals evened out once we got her home and in her niche."

She stands and looks up at her brother, then back to Auspex. "If I don't go find somebody, he hasn't got long."

Blackout..? *she blinks, putting bits of conversation and observation together* Did... the couch do something to her?

*She shakes her head just as quickly as she voiced her question, concern warring with urgency to see this mech make it, first* If she's stable... I'll ask later then, when there's time.

All right, I'll take him back with me. Will those anti-gravs make him any lighter, or will I need your brother? *she glances aside at Requiem, with a quick little smile*
