There's a flash and an explosion over the Nexus... and very few people look up other than to ascertain that whatever just went boom isn't coming down on their heads. It's not, so they go about their business as though nothing has happened.

Whatever it is streaks toward the park and leaves a smoking crater as it hits.

And a soft, wordless alarm call sounds in a certain priestess's spark.

"You're still more important than I am." He watches her, then drops to one knee to gently gather the wounded one close. This done, he regains his feet and looks to her expectantly.

To the Sanctuary!

I am not important, I am merely different. *she nods graciously as he gathers up the mech*

*A few minutes later, she's led him through the Nexus to the correct portal, and after a short but uneventful walk over the metallic plains, she directs him through the spacious sanctuary to the back rooms, where the guest quarters are* It's a bit of a tight fit here for a large mech; I apologize. *Skyfire did well enough when he came here, though; she knows it can be done. She hopes Requiem is not claustrophobic.*

He's not sure how to respond to her words on importance, so he doesn't. The plains get scanned warily and with youthful curiosity, and then the dent in the sanctuary wall is sought out and examined as he passes it.

"Hmm? Oh... yeah. But I think I can get in without hurting him." He goes to his knees and carefully pokes the seeker in without going in fully himself, then peers in with a frown as he tries to figure out what wrong thing is bugging him so badly.

"His wings are gone.... Just totally gone." The realization makes him shudder and long for the sky.

He's a flier. Thankfully not a twitchy one, though.

Sanctuary

*she sighs with regret, taking up the mech's hand again* I know. I wish I knew what happened to him... *she frowns at the severity of the temporarily patched wounds, and offers another prayer for him*

Though there's nothing to do but wait, for the moment, I suppose. Feel free to go where you will, in the meantime, if you wish. *she glances up at him, with a subdued smile*

He looks back seriously, then nods and withdraws. A few moments later the sound of rotors comes from outside as he lifts into the air to circle and keep watch.

And back inside the guest room the barest fleeting touch of pain touches Auspex's senses.

*Auspex winces at this brief flicker, returning her gaze to the damaged seeker, absently rubbing his hand* Who are you, and what happened to you, my friend? I hope we can alleviate this pain, as well...

The only reply she gets is a PINpoint sound from the beginning of the hallway. But then the peace of the sanctuary is shattered by the terrified beeping of a Minicon.

Two other Miniconish voices are raised in attempt to be heard over the fearful one, one deeper and angry, and the other Hormah's familiar deedlebeep. The young Decepticon has a Minicon in each hand, and the purple female seems ready to short circuit as her grey and green friend argues with Hormah and tries to free his gun.
