Nexus and Auspex's reality. Park by the sign and the sanctuary. Enter Bob

There's a flash and an explosion over the Nexus... and very few people look up other than to ascertain that whatever just went boom isn't coming down on their heads. It's not, so they go about their business as though nothing has happened.

Whatever it is streaks toward the park and leaves a smoking crater as it hits.

And a soft, wordless alarm call sounds in a certain priestess's spark.

*Auspex can't help but sigh a little in relief, as Nightwind's form emerges, unscathed, from Hormah's shell. She starts to approach, thinks better of it, hanging back near the other side of the berth, instead. Still, she feels like she should say something. Her voice is quiet, but sincere* Thank you so much, Nightwind. I wish there was some way I could help you, in return... but I don't wish to cause you any more discomfort. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate... but I think you may be eager to return home, and I won't keep you. *she attempts a smile, though it's rather wan, and nods to her and her companion*

*she considers Hormah's question* I... think I'll be all right, for now. Provided he doesn't panic violently... but I don't think he will. He may perhaps be tired, besides. You... probably need to see to Blackout. I won't press you on that, now.

*she reaches up to rest her hand on the fem's shoulder* Thank you for helping me, my friend.

The purple femme looks up over Bender's reassuring and protective arm, her black visor bright as she jitters just a little bit.

"I think this did help," she says quietly, looking down and leaning toward Bender as she shivers about talking to a Bulk. "A... a little bit." Bender just watches, then nods and pokes at Hormah. Home now, yo?

"Requiem's stayin' behind a bit." Hormah deedles softly and looks down herself at Auspex's words. "It ain't no problem, b'y. 'N Blackout... well, she's off somewheres. Part 'o her. Doin' somet'in wit' Primus."

She shakes herself and looks up again with her usual grin and irrepressible cheer, then checks the Minicons and PINs out.

*Auspex's voice is very quiet* Every little bit helps.

Oh. I see. I will pray for her, Hormah. *Auspex sounds somewhat concerned, but she doesn't address it. Being out of one's body is usually... not a good thing. But she's heard of stranger things happening, to mechs that are perfectly fine now. She still feels that she shouldn't press it. Perhaps she will ask Blackout herself, someday.*

And I will remember Requiem, if I should have a problem. Thank you. *she offers a much more subdued smile in return, and another pat on the shoulder, before sidestepping a little closer to the berth, to attend to her visitor*

Hormah looks down to check her passengers, and then PINs away, her mind already going to her boss and planning on checking her feeding equipment.

The purple mech is quiet on his berth, his scars now vanished but for his lack of wings. His optics are half closed, and he's floating in a comfortable cloud of lethargy.

*Auspex watches him quietly for a moment. She's reluctant to disturb him; he most likely needs the rest, or the quiet, if nothing else. On the other hand, she's reluctant to leave him alone, after the amount of fear she's sensed in him. For the moment, she settles on lingering in the doorway, keeping an eye on him, but not actively trying to speak to him. Let him adjust as he will.*

*Auspex looks over, as his movement catches her optic. He doesn't seem to have noticed her... and she's not sure he won't be terrified if she makes herself known; but it may be worse if it's obvious that she's been standing there for awhile.*

*She settles on speaking just loud enough to carry over to him, expression open and friendly* I'm glad to see that you're in a more functional state, my friend. Hopefully, the pain is gone. *it's a bit of a rhetorical statement, since she can more-or-less sense that it is, but perhaps it will help to prompt him to talk*

*she hisses softly, wincing. She holds her hands up in a placating gesture* It's all right. You are safe here; I will not harm you, nor will anyone else. I found someone to help you, when I saw the state you were in. Don't be afraid.

I don't know what happened to you, that damaged you so badly... but there is no need to worry about it, anymore. No one here can harm you like that. *she takes a few tentative steps forward, moving slowly*

*His voice is indeed somewhat reminiscent of Starscream's, from her own universe... she blinks, a little startled. Surely not... no, she's seen Starscream, from that universe, and the colors are wrong. This is somewhat mysterious...*

*She smiles faintly, though kindly* My name is Auspex. I am a servant of Primus, and this is a temple of Primus.
