There's a flash and an explosion over the Nexus... and very few people look up other than to ascertain that whatever just went boom isn't coming down on their heads. It's not, so they go about their business as though nothing has happened.

Whatever it is streaks toward the park and leaves a smoking crater as it hits.

And a soft, wordless alarm call sounds in a certain priestess's spark.

He frowns a little, feeling a dull ache starting up in his inner parts too. "She said it was my name. I don't remember having any other."

He's been running off Allspark charge for all his brief life. He doesn't recognize that second ache as hunger.

"I don't know," he says, becoming frightened again.

[primus_seeress]

*she comes a little closer, but still allows plenty of distance for the jittery mech* Don't panic; it's not likely to be as serious as what put you in this state, in the first place. But... you didn't have a name? ...how long have you been alive, Bob? Are you new, do you know?

[gentle_seekers]

"I... I don't know." He lowers his head, accepting her approach with that tremulous trust. "I... they called me...."

Panic and terror returns with a vengeance as he thinks of the name that the shadowy 'they' had called him, and he knows that that was not his name, but the name of someone that he wants to avoid at all costs.

[primus_seeress]

*she comes still closer, enough to reach the foot of the berth, pausing once again to allow him to adjust to her presence* What did they call you? You are safe here. Whoever frightened you can do nothing more to you. There is no need for fear.

He hugs himself, shaking as he whispers, "I'm not Starscream."

[primus_seeress]

*Auspex nods slowly, moving to stand beside him. She isn't surprised someone might mistake him... other than the color, and his mannerisms, he is a close match. But the why is still unclear*

No, you are not Starscream. *her question is careful* Do you know Starscream?

[gentle_seekers]

He's shaking in silent terror as he tries to see past that terror into his memories, as patchy and few as they are. His meeting with Prowl and Lockdown is still a blank, but his first memories are clear once he forces himself to look at them.

"He created me. And then sent me to Earth."

And that's all he really remembers, other than that he was frightened out of his processor the whole time.

*Auspex starts in surprise, optics wide* Created you? But... *she falls silent, thinking this through, with a troubled expression* He... meant for you to look and sound like him. But you don't act like him...

*she slowly reaches to put a hand on his shoulder, seeing how frightened he is* It's all right. Memories can't hurt you anymore.

He jumps and meeps at the touch, but is only startled and confused by it and not frightened.

His optics are quizzical as he looks at her, and then he leans toward her slightly, instinctively reacting as a young animal would.

//Hsst! Auspex!// comes a call from Hormah. //I's in the main room, 'n I's got somet'in' ye's gotta see, b'y.//

*she pats his shoulder gently* I won't hurt you. I'm only trying to show you that I am listening, and that I do not want you to be afraid.

*Auspex pauses a moment, optics flickering, as her friend comms her. Well... she hates to leave her guest, but it may be important...* Hormah has returned. One of the two who repaired you. Will you excuse me for a moment? Rest... *she moves back toward the door, glancing backward once* I'll bring you some energon when I return, if you need refueling. For now, just relax, if you can.

*She hurries through the hall, into the main sanctuary* Hormah?
