He only hoped that he could get her out of danger in time if this were to go sour.

And Acorna picks up on those emotions. "You still miss her, though, don't you."

'Jack continues muttering to himself, although it's starts to drift to mechanical 'this's and 'that's of Blackout's repairs.

Hormah watches him, then sets the security camera on him so that she can watch everything and learn what he's doing.

This done, she turns back to Acorna as Requiem's voice comes from the main room, talking to Scarecrow about a TV show.

Acorna listens to Wheeljack with some interest, reminded strongly of Calum when he was working on a problem. "Something tells me he's going to be like that for a while." She then looks up to Hormah, a motherly smile on her face. "Would you like to go sit with the others while we wait?"

The little femme blinks, her feelings full of shock at the thought of leaving her boss helpless with a stranger. "Nah, b'y. But ye kin go on if ye wants."

Uneasy about leaving a distressed youngling alone, Acorna declines and settles down close to Hormah, watching and waiting.
