Arcee sighs and creaks to her feet, then limps over to her desk and sets the little Bumblebee doll next to the little Ratchet. "Well, that didn't work. Let's hope Ratchet has a better plan, because I don't like how your engine sounds, kid."

As expected there's no reply from the little silver being under her berth, and she sighs and leaves the room to go wait in the common room and see if there's anything worth watching on TV.

"That's right, Kia. Good." Ratchet allows Kia to take his hand, smiling at her.

"I may have to find my way over there then. I still have some Cybertronian credits laying about that I obviously have no use for at the moment. I ought to get one of the Prime dolls and set it up on top of the plasma screen television. Harmless prank...and it might be worth the glares Prime would give me over it. I think he's got enough of a sense of humor to take it in stride, anyway. Although speaking of my crew mates... I should get back. Your booster won't finish itself and my turn in the Nexus is almost up."

Kia perks at the smile and the approval, then snuggles his hand along with her doll as he talks to Arcee, who is now laughing and shaking her head, her optics alight with humor.

"Just don't drop it down in front of him on a string. I don't think chopping himself up would go over well."

She stands up and walks over to offer a hug. "Yeah. Thanks."

"Nah, I know better than to scare him. I think the doll by itself is enough to be considered a teasing prank." He allows Kia to cuddle his hand for a moment longer as he accepts Arcee's offer of a hug, embracing her with his free arm. "You two just be sure to take care. Kia, be a good girl."

"I always do." Arcee smiles up at him and pats him on the windshield, then steps back and snags Kia as the youngster nearly keels out of the chair. "You had better do the same. And tell whoever's up next not to be a stranger."

"Will do. I think Prime will be the next one to come around..." Taking his PINpoint from it usual compartment, Ratchet pulls up the preset for Detroit and teleports out in a flash of light.

Arcee watches him go, and then gets Kia bedded down on a corner of the floor before going and collapsing onto her berth for a nap of her own.
