Void-verse. Where Scourge is. Looking for a hand.

Ratchet looks around as he appears in the new reality, feeling the mech that he's searching for, but not seeing him yet. The free spark's usually cheerful face shows deep concern today. He knows this is a long shot gamble, but he can't shake the hunch that Scourge might be able to help him.

He tilts his head and listens. Where is Scourge?

Scourge doesn't even notice at first, so entranced is he with his box moving. But then he sees the flash of color out of the corner of his field of vision and he whirls, clutching the crate to his chest like a shield.

"Wh-what do you want?" he asks fearfully, still wary of ghosts trying to do nasty things to him. His glance does flick to the security cameras, but only for a moment in case Ratchet notices.

Ratchet steps back, holding his hands so that Scourge can see them, but not in a way that would seem threatening.

"I'm not looking for a ride," he says in a calm voice. "And I won't touch you."

Scourge hardly trusts him, but he nods pliantly. "Okay," he says weakly, setting the crate down on the hoversled to prevent breakage in case he is forced to drop it.

Ideally if Ratchet does attack he can get off a comlink warning to Cyclonus before it takes him over fully, so he'll know to shoot.

"I need to talk to you for a minute. And Cyclonus too, if he has any time." Ratchet's expression goes back to its slightly worried cast.

"About what?" Almost reflexively Scourge is curling his arms around himself, wishing he could just pull out a gun and use that as a morale-booster. But guns don't work on ghosts. "Cyclonus is very busy," he adds nervously.

"I thought he would be." The ghost nods. Then he sighs. "I've been trying to track someone down for nearly a week, and haven't even gotten a glimpse of her. She really needs to be found."

"She's not here. The only newcomers we've had are from this universe." He doesn't know that for sure, but he's quite vested in making the ghost go away. Already he's trying to back towards the door to the base.

"No. She isn't here. But she's lost and afraid. And hurt." Ratchet doesn't chase him.

"Then what do you want out of Cyclonus?" Scourge asks desperately, taking another step back. He doesn't even notice that he's putting Cyclonus before himself in this line of questioning--the moment his wingmate comes into the picture, Scourge stops mattering.

"I want to ask him if it's alright to ask you to help me."

"Why do you need me? Ask Ultra Magnus, he'd know about Autobots." And stay away from Cyclonus.
