Void-verse. Where Scourge is. Looking for a hand.

Ratchet looks around as he appears in the new reality, feeling the mech that he's searching for, but not seeing him yet. The free spark's usually cheerful face shows deep concern today. He knows this is a long shot gamble, but he can't shake the hunch that Scourge might be able to help him.

He tilts his head and listens. Where is Scourge?

It doesn't sting. It's common knowledge. Anyone with the decency to step outside and see the monuments to the dead would read his name at the top of the list.

"And?" Scourge asks, trying to seem casual about it.

"I... can I show you what he told me? I'm not going to take over or anything, but I need to touch you to send data."

"No!" Scourge says it a little too fast, a little too frantic. "Don't...don't show me anything. Just talk."

Ratchet steps back quickly, then seems to take in air through intakes that no longer exist. "You were taken by Rodimus Void, and abused. Cyclonus tried to rescue you, and you shot him to keep him from coming back. But then Void was turned into a chibi, and you wound up in Auspex's care."

"You could have found that from someone else," the tracker offers weakly, still relaying back as much as he can to his wingmate.

//He knows what happened to Void and that I was seeing Auspex. That's pretty clear.//

//Have you called Auspex to confirm him?//

//I can't, not from here.//

Another pause.

//Stay where you are. I'm coming with you.//

Bugger architectural meetings. Cyclonus isn't going to be left out of another part of Scourge's life because he was so busy that someone else had to care for him instead.

Ratchet looks confused by Scourge's words, but then turns his head slightly as though listening. "Oh. You're not sure about my credentials. Is it alright if he touches you? Just to show you I'm on the square?"

"How would I know that it's him?" Scourge is stalling now, waiting for Cyclonus to get to him. As long as it doesn't try to drag him off...

That nets him a thoughtful look as Ratchet picks up a little of his unease. "Look, if I did anything to you Auspex would kill me again."

"Not much of a threat, to a ghost." With his audial sensors turned up he can hear the sound of Cyclonus' feet in the corridor, moving quickly but calmly to avoid any suspicious of trouble.
