Void-verse. Where Scourge is. Looking for a hand.

Ratchet looks around as he appears in the new reality, feeling the mech that he's searching for, but not seeing him yet. The free spark's usually cheerful face shows deep concern today. He knows this is a long shot gamble, but he can't shake the hunch that Scourge might be able to help him.

He tilts his head and listens. Where is Scourge?

Inwardly, Scourge is absolutely terrified. His spark aches, his body wants to throw itself to its knees and howl in anguish, but he forces it all back and leaves his hand outstretched, his fingers open to her.

"A friend. Scourge. I'm here for you," he says, as if reciting from a script.

She can sense the determination to help; is drawn by the force of his desire for her to come with him. Once more that staticy tingle comes to his fingertips....

And then she flashes with alarm and grief and recoils as she sees his terror and pain. "I hurt you!"

"It's all right, I'm used to it." He clutches at where he thinks the tingling might have come from, trying to pull her back to him. "Come with us!"

"No..." she grieves, but she doesn't move away as his hand passes through her.

With the contact he can see right into her mind: images of her last moment touch his thoughts; of Megatron forbidding her to die; of a blue mech... Soundwave... speaking to her gently when she'd given up hope.... She knows she's dead, yet even with that knowledge her spark is still wounded.

And Ratchet is staring as he suddenly clearly sees Scourge's spark and realizes just how similar the two are.

Blinking, he turns to look at Cyclonus.

Scourge wavers for one bare moment and looks back at the other two for support. Ratchet's not facing him, but Cyclonus is staring at him--I trust you, I love you, I believe in you.

He shuts off his optics for a bare moment, focusing on his other sensors and the deeper sensations he's getting from her. "Can you...Ratchet, can she come into me, if I let her?"
