Void-verse. Where Scourge is. Looking for a hand.

Ratchet looks around as he appears in the new reality, feeling the mech that he's searching for, but not seeing him yet. The free spark's usually cheerful face shows deep concern today. He knows this is a long shot gamble, but he can't shake the hunch that Scourge might be able to help him.

He tilts his head and listens. Where is Scourge?

"No. I have to program in the coordinates to this one." Ratchet's voice holds relief. It looks like this is going to turn out well after all.

-She offered to help me, I think....- Starscream searches for the rest of the memory and draws a blank.

Cyclonus hands it over and waits impatiently, still feeling angry about the invading presence. His body, none other's!

"She helps me too. Helped me through some of the hardest parts of my...existence. You can see her, once you're better."

The free spark takes it and sticks his finger into it, optics intent as he gives it the required data and organizes it properly.

-See her....- Starscream hasn't got an opinion on that yet. She just wants to go home.

Ratchet suddenly starts and looks up, the PINpoint forgotten in his hand as he listens intently. "Slagging... I have to go."

Seeing people go through things is never going to stop freaking Cyclonus out, but he has enough Decepticonly stoicism not to let it show. "What? Go where? Don't you dare leave us here!"

"I won't be gone long." He glances toward Scourge and drops his voice. "But your alternate in my original reality just died, and I have to make sure he gets where he's going safely."

Starscream feels almost like she's falling asleep. Also like she's clinging to the safety and security that Scourge is providing.

There's the barest of flinches, the slightest crack in his mask before the derisive scowl returns. "Then tend to your business, I hardly care about some other Cyclonus who isn't smart enough to keep himself alive."

Ratchet only smiles a little sadly as he offers the other mech the PINpoint. "He's kept himself alive for twenty five vorns, despite being poisoned by Unicron. Don't forget you can go back to your own reality any time."

Another crack, another hasty repair job. "If someone as lowly as Starscream can hang on," he proclaims firmly, "then I don't see why my alternate should do any less as long as he is needed."

"He stayed around till the job was done. He's not one to shirk a post. But now Galvatron needs him more." Ratchet steps back and vanishes.

"If he wasn't one to shirk a post, then he wouldn't have died," Cyclonus says to the air, just in case Ratchet's decided to stick around. He turns and slowly approaches Scourge, making sure to come at him from the front so he can be seen.

"Are you...both ready to go?" he asks in a far kinder tone. Scourge nods ever so slightly and allows Cyclonus to put an arm around him as he activates the PINPoint.

Fusion verse

They arrive in a dull grey hallway, and the first thing they'll probably notice is staticy cursing and the scrape of metal against metal.

Then Thundercracker pauses where she's sitting on Skywarp's chest and trying to wring his neck to give the two newcomers a startled glance. "Soundwave! Intruders!"

Immediately Cyclonus' gun hand flicks up to aim the both of them, and he steps in front of Scourge protectively. "Quiet! Sound the alarm and from this distance I'm quite certain I can kill both of you."

Yes, that was once them. No, he doesn't really care.

Her optics narrow. "And if I let you get past us, I'm as good as dead anyway because you'll probably come back and finish the job."

"Slagging let go of me..." growls Skywarp, digging his fingers into her wrist even as he too eyes the intruders.

"You make it sound as if I actually care about you." He sights on Skywarp now. "We wish to speak to Soundwave. Alone."
