Aidla watches the little creature with absent curiosity, still lost in the wonder of willow whips and feeling protective of her friend's sadness.

-Hmmm. I got a new family. I can't remember if you saw some of them the last time you saw me or not.-

-If you're going to do a job, you should do it right.- She steps back and regards the living wreath hanging from the willow tree.

"I'll be sure to tell him that next time I see him, which'll probably be soon. Provided someone else isn't sent this time, anyway," Ed says, amused.

-He comes alot?- She moves to look at the wreath from the other side, then looks at him and points to it. -That's for your friends.-

"Not really. Just every few months. It's getting to be around time for a reappearance on his end, that's all."

He looks at the wreath and touches it. "I see. Shall it stay here so it can continue growing on it's own?"

She looks up at him, then points to a second wreath a little distance away among the whips. -That one's for Elfangor's son and younger brother.-

Her small hooves pick a careful way over the roots as she pulls another from the trailing greenery. -This is for my parents and for Varek's.-

Ed picks up on the significance of the wreathes and he blinks back tears.

"Thank you," he says quietly.
