Arcee's engines roared as she shot into the air, going straight up and crying out gleefully as she landed roughly, spinning out and laughing maniacally as she spun in circles. //Seriously, you can't hope to beat that airtime, Bee,// she crowed, slowing for a moment before wobbling and flopping over.

Up by the base Forge watched them, blinking and arching an eyebrow and shaking his head as the two roared around the desert, acting like fresh recruits and the tomboys they still were at heart.

Ratchet hunkers next to the wounded femme and puts a hand over her spark compartment. "We have to get the sparkling out of there and stabilized. Jazz, how's Bumblebee?"

"I'm okay," says the yellow femme softly, though her voice is shaking. "Is 'Cee?"

"She's running." He quickly gets the pink femme strapped to a holo stretcher, and then PINpoints with her back to the intensive care bay.

Bee curls into a ball and keens softly, then pushes herself shakily to her feet despite Jazz's fussing. "If he didn't even look at me... wait... sparkling???"

"S-sparklin'?!" Forge seemed to offline for a moment, then took off, blasting for the ICB as quickly as he could.

Skidding to a halt in front of the doors he shoved them open, hurrying inside and looking around. His first impulse was to call out, but he didn't want to distract Ratchet, so instead he hurried over, giving the doctor and patient wide berth.

"What do you mean, 'sparklin'?" he gaped.

"OUT!" roars the medic. "Dev, lock the door after him!"

Forge jumped slightly, but retreated quickly, starting as the doors shut in his face, then backing away. Since when had they had a sparkling? Had Arcee known? She wouldn't have been driving so recklessly if she had....

He slowly sat, spark aching. He couldn't hear her anymore, she was hurt badly, but she'd still make it, wouldn't she?

Bowing his head Forge's broad shoulders trembled, till finally his closed his optics and began to pray fervently for the safety of his sparkmate and the child they hadn't even known about.

"Hey...." Bee limps over and puts her arms around him, ignoring her hovering and concerned spark-mate. "She's gonna be alright... they both are."

She flinches as the waiting area door bursts open.

"What's going on?" demands Ironhide. "The twins are having a fit."

"Boys," Forge stood at once as Startracker nearly knocked over his grandfather, latching onto his father's arm shakily as Sunhunter followed, cannons out and eyes wide.

"Was there an attack, dad? Are there Cons?" the sparkling looked panicked as his

"No, no, but those away," Forge's voice went harsh as fear spiked. Then he looked at Startracker, who was audibly shaking.

"It was a wreck," he whimpered. "I saw it, on the scanners...."

"Your ma's gonna be fine," Starforge said, hugging his son.
