Arcee's engines roared as she shot into the air, going straight up and crying out gleefully as she landed roughly, spinning out and laughing maniacally as she spun in circles. //Seriously, you can't hope to beat that airtime, Bee,// she crowed, slowing for a moment before wobbling and flopping over.

Up by the base Forge watched them, blinking and arching an eyebrow and shaking his head as the two roared around the desert, acting like fresh recruits and the tomboys they still were at heart.

"She." Ratchet's voice is gruff with static. "And... I don't know."

The new spark looks like only a formless shimmer of barely visible light laying on the bottom of the life support unit. There is no movement; none of the usual sparkle.

"She..." Forge's vocalizer seized again and his hand tightened around Arcee's. "But... we... we didn't even know. 'Cee woulda never been drivin' like that if we'd known...."

"She hasn't coalesced yet, and shouldn't be separate from Arcee's spark at this point in her formation." Ratchet puts his hand over the clear top of the spark pot. "The crash probably knocked her loose."
