MamaBee's Verse: Nellis AF Base: Foolhardy Femmes ((Happens after Nova Thread))

Arcee's engines roared as she shot into the air, going straight up and crying out gleefully as she landed roughly, spinning out and laughing maniacally as she spun in circles. //Seriously, you can't hope to beat that airtime, Bee,// she crowed, slowing for a moment before wobbling and flopping over.

Up by the base Forge watched them, blinking and arching an eyebrow and shaking his head as the two roared around the desert, acting like fresh recruits and the tomboys they still were at heart.

Forge looked away, composing himself as well as he was able. "Jus' put 'em t' bed, if y' don't mind," he said, then cleared his voice. "Our... there was a spark we didn' know about. N... she got wrenched offa Cee too soon. Ratch said she... she's in a bad situation. She ain't developed yet."

He looked down at her, taking the cue from his father and concealing his ache. "Doc said she was gonna be ok."

He blinked, then looked down at Arcee, eyes widening again. Was she going to blame herself, too?

"Is mom awake, grandpa?" Startracker asked, looking over his shoulder as they went.
