TG'verse. Prime's compound in Iacon. Family ties

Panacea gave a disgruntled growl as she stood in the doorway of Sideswipe's empty room. "I'll make that slagging .... regret the day he was sparked. I told him she needs her recharge if she's going to finish healing!"

Still growling, she turned and went next door to Sunsteaker's room... and stopped short in astonishment.

Another berth had been brought in, and pushed up against that of the damaged twin, and she now lay with Sideswipe contentedly snuggling against her on one side and the Security Director murmuring slightly on the other side as he argued with someone in his recharge.

"Hmmmph." She walked over to examine all three of them, noticing the wire that linked Red Alert and Sideswipe's wrists. Both of them were resting much more quietly than usual, which disinclined her to disturb them, but still, there were some things that she had to make sure of.

"Wake up." Her finger jabbed at a sensitive place on Red Alert's person with surprising gentleness.

He started and blinked at her, absently reassuring the sisters as both of them flinched at his spurt of surprise. "Huh? Panacea? Oh... am I in trouble?"

"Did you mean to recharge here?" She quirked a brow ridge at him.

"Not really." He rubbed his face with the hand that was free. "But Sunstreaker wants me to stay."

Panacea's optics narrowed. "You mean Sideswipe?"

"No." His mouth quirked upward at the corners. "Though she does too."

"You mean...." She looked quickly at the yellow sister, her optics widening.

"Yes." Red Alert's smile grew slightly. "She's still processing."

Panacea's jaw would have dropped, if she'd had one, instead she put a hand to her faceplate.

"Do I have to go?" He blinked wearily, the hand with the dataport absently patting Sunstreaker soothingly.

Panacea's faceplate moved a little, and then she shook her head. "No. Stay put. Just don't do anything stupid. And don't try telling me that you don't do stupid."

He gave a soft chuckle, his optic shutters drooping as the twins' contented sleeping overweighed Firestar and Inferno's rambunctious party feelings. "Yes, sir."

She watched as he slipped back into recharge, then sighed and told God (and Primus) thanks before turning and going home to her spark-mate and family.
