Sam's Earth: Detroit
Leeroy had learned his lesson.
Never, ever swap the memory cards on Jeimu's PlayStation 2. And don't hide the one that had all her DDR save games on it.
She'd sworn up a storm and then opened up a portal in the living room and kicked him through it. Now he was here, in a strange bar in a strange city. He didn't feel too concerned, Mu would bring him back when she decided he deserved to set foot on Newfoundland again.
But while he was here there was only one thing to do.
"What d'ye got fer beers, b'y?" he asked the bartender.

Because you deserved it! came her voice in his brain suddenly.
Well, I'm in a bit of a spot, he sent back, so d'you mind?
Fine. You don't seem like you're in a rush to come home, anyway. A shimmery spot appeared at his feet, and a pistol skittered along the ground. It belongs to Tom. Don't lose it.
"Sweet deal," he muttered, putting the safety on the gun and pocketing it. He then looked behind to see Sam playing with her hair.
"Ready?" he asked, a wide grin on his face.

He found some Roll Up The Rim To Win rims (apparently, he'd forgotten to cash in two donuts and a coffee), a pen with chew marks on the end, a dog biscuit for Wilcoxe, and a pack of gum. It was all bafflingly useless, and Leeroy was thankful that Jeimu had actually elected to listen to him for once.
The rain fell, but it didn't bother him in the least.
