Armada 'verse. Team headquarters in Cyber City. Morale building exercise

Ironhide appears in the room where he and his sister have been taking their recharge since they arrived here, and looks around carefully to make sure that he's reached the right place this time. He'd intended a quick trip to the Nexus, just to see if he couldn't catch some word of Bumblebee. But instead he'd wound up in another, smaller nexus lined with lockers and littered with human clothing. One of the rooms of this place had been stacked to the ceiling with energon.

There was blue energon there. There was green.

Ironhide's arms are full, and he walks carefully as he goes to the empty common room and arranges his armload neatly on the table before vanishing and reappearing with more. This also arranged to his liking, he grabs a cube of the green and walks out the front door to trade for the last thing that every perfect drinking party needs. It takes a little while to find a mech who has what he wants, but if he still had emotions Ironhide would be very pleased as he returns to the laden table with packets of various-coloured minerals in one hand. He hasn't had this much energon additives since before he'd first left his native Cybertron. And the person he'd traded them from seemed to think they were paint pigments!

Rumbling, he settles down and mixes careful doses of several different powders into a cube of blue, then sips appreciatively as he waits for some of his new teammates to show up.

"Course not," Armorhide chuckles. He downs the last of his drink, then lifts the cup in the Autobot's direction in a brief gesture of thanks. Catching sight of the new drink, he studies it and echoes curiously, "'Tyger Pax'?"

//I read you,// the other Ironhide responds immediately, sounding concerned. //What's the situation?//

Armorhide rubs his chin, gaze distant as it flicks between Ironhide's face and the drink. In all his reading, he doesn't remember coming across that name... and that piques his interest. “I don’t doubt it.”

Behind him, Waterlog’s getting to his feet, finally moved to replace his depleted cube. And Nightscream and Stormcloud are looking round with interest at the Autobot’s latest creation.

There's a startled pause before Ironhide’s alt replies again. //I’m… going to hope that’s good news. Where are you? And where’d the energon come from?//

The dual attention is noticed by Armorhide when he looks around for that drink Nightscream was withholding. He gives the black Minicon a bemused look, taking the spare singer from his hand, then chuckles when he tracks the direction of Nightscream's gaze. "Well, you going to volunteer to try it?"

Nightscream blinks and glances at him. "Hey, I'm hoarse enough already, I'm not wrecking my tanks."

Stormcloud snorts and disconnects from his current cube. "Scared little street-sweeper, aren't you? That's nothing special."

Elsewhere, Ironhide restrains herself from asking if he's all right. Armorhide's there, so there must be some supervision. //Glad to hear you started it. We're still tied up here... Everything's all right there, isn't it?//

Yes, she succumbed.

She hesitates to answer that, frankly because she's working out how to respond. Quite apart from whether she remembers what to do with high-grade, her expectations in recent vorns have not included people promising her any. //Heh, I'll look forward to that...// If his team-mates don't glitch about it. //Thanks.//
