Truce 'verse. Cureall's apartment. Looking for someone.

One moment the corridor outside Cureall's apartment door is empty.

And the next moment there's a swish and a tall, powerfully built human man is raising his hand to knock, his bright blue eyes creased in a deep frown.

The knock stirs up scolding from within, and the sound of small wings swooping about. He waits to see what else it brings.

She smiles back, send assurance that she does still notice him there. She turns her attention back to Charlie for a moment. "This one cannot make this choice lightly. She would like time to consider this, if you would let her. She will no matter the choice, continue to care for Kigan."

"Of course." Charlie nods, then chuckles as Kigan gets his hand to work and gently touches her face.

"Yes. My love. I love you." She sighs and leans in to kiss his lips.

This triggers a spurt of happiness, and his fingers close around her hand as he leans against her and feels like his world is complete.

"I have to get back," says Charlie. "One of us come and bring you to the castle as soon as Kigan's strong enough to move."
