As Random finishes his Sunrise, deciding what exactly to do next, he takes a look around the bar . . .

"No." Keg frowns and looks at the spot where he left it, then checks the floor and scans around. "I think it teleported. But I know where it's going, anyway."

Then he returns his attention to the part in Random's hand. "So was I right? And what's all this? You don't need stuff that complex for a simple remote."

Well, so much for one of them infiltrating the place when the 'bot tried to retrieve his drone.

"So he probably already knows we've got the rest of it then. Hmm." No, don't start thinking--Wait. "Hopefully he doesn't decide to split."

"Yep, this is definitely 'some kind of remote control.'" He turns the part over in his hand a few times in examination. "One that takes orders from the controlling bot's thoughts and turns them into action. . . . This kind of remote ain't as simple as you'd think. The part that allows some drones to take verbal commands is about--if not as or more--complex as this one."

Keg ponders the older mech's words for a moment, then lifts his optics to look at him. "So he was mentally linked to it when I shot it?"

Random considers that. "If he was still moving it around when you shot it, yes."

"Think there'd be any sensory backlash?" The young bouncer's expression goes intent and thoughtful.

" . . . Probably." Smirk. He hopes the slagger enjoyed that!

"Hmmmmm, I wonder if somebody should go check on him...."

"Where is he?"

Keg rattles off the coordinates. "Looks like he's orbiting Cybertron, unless their Cybertron's moved from the original place."

"Either he's in orbit or their Cyberton is. . . . Huh." He puts the remote down and leans on an unoccupied part of the bar.

"I should say the regular place." Keg reaches into subspace and pulls out a PINpoint.

"Cybertron." He nods in understanding. He notices what Keg's doing, but doesn't say anything for the moment.

"I'll be right back. I just want to check things out." The young mech calls up the menu and swiftly programs coordinates, feeling antsy at the thought that the perp might have escaped already.

Excuse Random, he's a bit torn between asking to come along, the fact that the villain might have already gotten away, and knowing that he wouldn't be much help if he went along and trouble showed up. " . . . Alright. Hurry back and be careful!"
