Rumble looks around as he and Asia arrive in Pitstop's repair bay with the femme called Showtime, then steps back hastily as two of the medic's assistants lift the blue femme to a stretcher.

"But I'm fallin' asleep." He accidentally leans against her with a soft clang. "Can't... can't do m' job... sleepin'."

Showtime puts an arm around Runt's shoulders, "But you're keeping me company, which I really appreciate...doesn't matter if you're sleeping or not..."

His forehead creases slightly as he gives her a confused look. "Can't... be comp'ny... when sleepin'."

Inside the tiny body there are systems whining with the desire for downtime, but Runt is ignoring them as best he can.

Showtime smiles a little, "If you're tired, you should rest..."

"Gotta do my job." He nods, optics flickering.

Showtime's expression is one of concern and amusement. Amusement at how stubborn Runt is being about doing his job, and concern because he seems to be quite tired indeed. "But if you're tired, you should rest...I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be going anywhere for awhile..."

"Gotta do my job." He blinks, fighting with all he's worth.

Showtime huffs a little, doorwings raising slightly, "But if you're tired, shouldn't resting come first? Being tired makes doing your job harder..."

"No." His hands go to his face to hide the tears that are trying to start in his optics. "Lady said to be your friend. Can't talk to you... when sleepin'."

Showtime hugs Runt, and begins quitely humming a soft song in the hopes of cheering the young Seeker up a bit. At least she's not tone-deaf, and can actually carry a tune...

This gains her a 0_o look as the little mech tries to figure out what she's doing.

Showtime doesn't seem to notice that she's earned herself a O_o look, and continues humming quietly.

The Seekerling has never been hugged before, nor cuddled, or treated in anyway different from a grown mech. His big optics tell clearly that he has no idea how to respond to what's going on here.

Showtime's own optics flicker a bit and she yawns, covering her mouth with one hand. She's starting to get tired herself. She glances over at the berth where she had been earlier, and then back at Runt, considering something.
