Z'verse 3. Dalla's garden. Search for Swindle

Blitzwing had never been this frantic before in his life.

Check that.. the Icy persona thought to himself as he appeared in what seemed to be a garden of some sort, I haven't been this frantic since I became a Decepticon. He refused to let either Hothead or Random out at this time, calming himself down. He was doing something, he couldn't be faulted for that.

But why the slag was he getting so worried about that fragging glitch-rat anyway?

Because it's my fault he was taken out of the Dream in the first place, Icy responded to the thought, unsure from which of the three of them it came from. If he hadn't dragged him out with him that one time, Swindle would probably be home, safe, not Spark-Knows-Where.

Blitzwing takes the rock, and his monocle extends as he gives it a closer look. "It seems to be combined with other minerals, making it inert, but still a viable fuel option," Icy says, then takes a small nibble. "Hmm, a litte bland, but not at all bad." he added afterwards.

Random whined that HE wanted the first bite and that Icy was a meanie.

Dalla's startled and a little distressed. "You don't have to eat the one off the ground, Blitzwing. I have... I guess it's all been on the ground."

She frowns with confusion, trying to figure out how to be a good host in this situation. "I could have them wash some."

"The minerals on the ground aren't that different from the minerals in the rock," Blitzwing explains, "It won't hurt our tanks. Besides, Random will probably play with them anyway."

Oh I would not... Random fussed.

Bah, you'd only play with them if you're alone or with someone--and even alone you're with someone! Hothead fumed.

A Pause.

Icy, Hothead made a joke... Random giggled.

Hothead sputtered angrily.

"Oh, that vould be me!" Random gleefully took control, grinning his grin. "I am Random, my blue-faced brother is Icy, and my red-faced brother is Hothead. We are Blitzwing!"

Dalla's ears perk as her eyes widen. "Are all of your people like this? Are Zoe and Swindle also three people in one?"

"Not at all," Blitzwing shifts back to Icy, "My sparkmate, she has two, but we are unique in that aspect. I have never met another like me, at least from the same reality as I."

"Spark-mate?" She pauses and turns her head to watch one of her men running down another path with his hands over his head, then steps over the flowerbed in between and punts him flying. "Stop being an ass and go get a coppa of rock and bring it to the sitting hall."

"Yes, Dalla!" The guy drags himself up and goes running back.

"Sorry." She turns and comes back to Blitzwing.

"It is quite alright," Blitzwing says, then tries to explain, "My..." Blitzwing pauses, remembering the word Dalla said concerning Swindle, "..I believe your word would be 'Chosen'."

A snicker started inside Blitzwing's head, which soon burst out into Random-produced laughter as he connected 'Swindle' and 'Chosen'. Even Hothead was amused. Icy was just glad they were staying inside, even as a smirk spread across his face at the thought.

"Ahh. Actually, that's only the word a Lu woman uses for the man she decides to marry. But I wasn't sure what your people used." She shakes her head and turns toward the house, confessing, "I hadn't really realized that you chose a spouse before I ran into Swindle in the Nexus. The Nroo don't."

"My apologies, then, for misunderstanding, but yes, you could say spouse, then, " Blitzwing said, with Random still giggling at 'Chosen Swindle'. He was going to tease him about that for cycles!

Icy then tilted his head, "The Nroo?" Considering the conversation, Icy assumed they were some sort of mechanical being, like they were.

Dalla nods toward what looks like a cross between a shop vac and an octopus who is busily digging up an empty corner of a flower bed. "The local machine people."

"I see," Blitzwing said, watching the other mechanical being for a moment before taking a step or two towards the place. He hoped that Dalla hadn't considered them rude for stopping for so long..

Well, Hothead could care less, but that was to be expected, and he was keeping quiet about it.
