Z'verse 3. Dalla's garden. Search for Swindle

Blitzwing had never been this frantic before in his life.

Check that.. the Icy persona thought to himself as he appeared in what seemed to be a garden of some sort, I haven't been this frantic since I became a Decepticon. He refused to let either Hothead or Random out at this time, calming himself down. He was doing something, he couldn't be faulted for that.

But why the slag was he getting so worried about that fragging glitch-rat anyway?

Because it's my fault he was taken out of the Dream in the first place, Icy responded to the thought, unsure from which of the three of them it came from. If he hadn't dragged him out with him that one time, Swindle would probably be home, safe, not Spark-Knows-Where.

"Oh, is that what you were doing?" She chuckles and rubs the toddler's back as he nods sleepily. "What do minerals taste like, anyway?"

In comes big brother, scooping up the rest of the yucky rocks and then pausing to look into the bowl. "That green one has a streak of this colour on it."

"Taste like?" Random thinks for a moment, "Well, besides the yucky ones...some have a hint more of a kick then others."

Blitzwing then takes the green one the young one pointed out, switched to Icy and took a closer look at it. "Well, you've got a good optic...erm, eye, I believe the word it.."

"Run to the kitchen, Dusk, and bring me the big lava stone. I might be able to fix that." Dalla lays the sleeping toddler down on a big cushion covered with long grey-streaked fur, then moves a little closer so that she can see the offending rock.

Blitzwing handed over the offending rock to Dalla, then picked up another of the greed ones and nibbled on it. Probably a good thing Dusk caught that, Icy seemed to like the greens.

Back comes Dusk, lava stone in his hands, and a cookie of some sort sticking out of his mouth. Seems someone's made points with the cook.

Dalla takes it and thanks him, then briskly attempts to sand off the offending colouring from the green stone.

Blitzwing watches with interest--he'd say that she shouldn't bother, but he doesn't want to be rude.

The Lu woman is enjoying herself, her self-appointed task rendered easy by her considerable strength. It's not long before she blows on the bit of rock and examines it with a critical frown, then grins and winks at Dusk before offering it to Blitzwing. "There you are."

"I thank you," Blitzwing says as he takes the now shaved rock from Dalla.

"Thank you for letting me serve," she says semi-formally, then looks down at Dusk as he climbs in her lap.

"Do you always just take little bites?" the little boy wants to know.

Blitzwing nods, then considers the boy's question. "Well, most of my fuel comes in liquid form, so most of the time I don't take bites at all."
