Future Knight Universe - Practicing

Porthos sighed, testing the feel of one of the spare swords he'd been provided to test with. He was, as always, good at picking up the feel of new weapons, but it didn't seem right withought his old sword by his side. He knew every nick and nooks of it, it was as as good as an extension of his own hand.

He sighed, then went back through his drills, striving to improve the new forms Brenda had taught him, and perfect his better moves with a new blade and new trousers, which felt as ridiculous as they looked.

She chuckled and held up the golden sword. "Do you want to try this one?"

He had less faith that anything could match the sword in his hand, but he indulged her, finding the other blade nearly as good. It certainly was a piece.

"Magnificent," he said, smiling.

She chuckled and tossed it to him hilt upright. "Her name's Celelosille; silver rose."

She walked over and took it, then flashed it from the scabbard and came in swift and low.

Porthos lept to the side, dodging and then taking his sweet time getting his new sword fitted in his hand before he chuckled.

"You know I don't surprise easily," he said, tutting her.

"Ooh, and she becomes frisky," he jumped slightly and chuckled. "Now now, would you do that were Master Clark here?"
