Future Knight Universe - Practicing

Porthos sighed, testing the feel of one of the spare swords he'd been provided to test with. He was, as always, good at picking up the feel of new weapons, but it didn't seem right withought his old sword by his side. He knew every nick and nooks of it, it was as as good as an extension of his own hand.

He sighed, then went back through his drills, striving to improve the new forms Brenda had taught him, and perfect his better moves with a new blade and new trousers, which felt as ridiculous as they looked.

He blocked the two with his sword, at the same time his leg shooting out and connecting with the back of her knees.

She fell back, one leg straightening to connect with the one he was standing on as she caught her weight on one hand.

He toppled, then rolled into a ready positoin across the room, sword up.

He paused, then grinned.

"Nice," he said, standing and saluting her with his sword.

She remained where she was on feet and hand for a moment, then suddenly flipped into a single hand stand and came up on her feet, where she bowed and once more attacked.

He deflected and agressed, then chuckled as he tripped and just barely blocked.

"I slept in too late. I'm woozy," he said, shaking his head and trying to wake up a little more.
