John looked at Sam and Zanoah, one brow lifting slightly as he watched the wolf-fae demolish her first softserve icecream cone. He saw Sam's distracted look and reached over to gently touch him on the shoulder. "Son?"

"Just thinking about things that have gone on." Sam states.

"Ah." He looks down at his icecream, then lifts it and eats some more, his own eyes going absent.

Zanoah eats the last scrap of her cone and looks at John's, then looks at Sam and sniffs the air. "I think I need a burger."

"You always think you need something." He states shaking his head a bit and eats his ice cream.

She looks up at him in surprise. "No I don't."

"Actually, yeah, in a way you do. Whether it be for playing or food."

She's silent for a moment, those turquoise eyes on the ground.

Then she moves slightly. "You never told me it was wrong."

"That's because its not as long as it isn't an all the time thing."

"Ah." She drops back into silence.

John looks at her with a frown, then glances at Sam and quirks an eyebrow as he finishes his cone.

Sam gives a slight shrug. His mind is on Dean and Jess. He's not really worth the advice he gives at the moment.

John reaches over behind Zanoah and gently jabs him in the ribs with a thumb. "Do you want to go back to the Cafe? Or stay here tonight?"

He smacks his dad's hand. "Hey!" Those brown eyes look over at John. "I think I'd rather stay here for the night."
