John looked at Sam and Zanoah, one brow lifting slightly as he watched the wolf-fae demolish her first softserve icecream cone. He saw Sam's distracted look and reached over to gently touch him on the shoulder. "Son?"

"A person's body doesn't belong on the table." He states with a raised brow.

He shrugs. "I'd wrenched my back and the truckseat was too soft."

"That's why you lay on the seat and not the table itself."

He just chuckles.

He just shakes his head and finishes off his ice cream.

Zanoah figets a bit, then transfers her butt from the bench to the table and curls up wolf-like, watching the world around them thoughtfully.

John glances at her, then gets to his feet and dusts his pants before going into a stretch.

"You're meant to be acting human not wolf." Sam whispers leaning down and kissing the top of her head.

She blinks and looks up at him, then down at herself before whispering in return, "Is it the laying on the table or the way I'm laying?"

"Just the way you're laying. Not many people curl up like a wolf does." He kisses to top of her head again before heading over to the Impala plops himself down on the warm hood of the car. A lot comfortable than a table or its bench.

She rolls onto her belly and lays her head on her arms, watching him and watching John as the older man does a few toe-touches and light calesthenics.

He watches John for a moment before just letting those eyes close and allowing his body to relax fully.
