Kurt's Oldworld: Joy trapped (locked to random_xtras)

Hank sighed as he walked down to Kurt's old room, hoping the Nightcrawler's fiancee was there and not on the roof.

"Erm, excuse me, Miss Joy? Are you in there?" he asked, frowning. Everybody was worrried about the amount of time she'd spent in there and on the roof. Ever since Kurt went back to thier home and she hadn't she seemed inconsolible.

"Ah. That makes sense," he said, nodding. Then he stood and offered his hand to her.

"You do realize that means I cannot possibly allow a counterpart of my friend's daughter to remain holed up in her own angst."

"And you think he'd be heartened by your resignation and determination to remain alone and in near mourning?" he said, watching her. "I'm not asking you to forget him or have a good time, I wish only you move about and perhaps accompany the professor and I downstairs. We're searching for a way to return you home also."

"Well, perhaps He wants you to look. Can't harm anything, and Kurt might take heart that you're doing more than sitting and pacing," he said, willing to try and say anything to get her to move.
