Kurt's Oldworld: Joy trapped (locked to random_xtras)

Hank sighed as he walked down to Kurt's old room, hoping the Nightcrawler's fiancee was there and not on the roof.

"Erm, excuse me, Miss Joy? Are you in there?" he asked, frowning. Everybody was worrried about the amount of time she'd spent in there and on the roof. Ever since Kurt went back to thier home and she hadn't she seemed inconsolible.

"Uh, professor?" Scott also noted this as Beast, Collosus, and Wolverine team tackled the Sentinel.

-Call if ye need me,- came the guarded thought as Joy flapped higher and vanished into the light of the sun.

"Did somebody get the number of that truck?" groaned Bobby, rubbing his head.

"Yeah, is was 1-800-"

"Logan, don't go there," Jean cut him off and he grinned as the Sentinel head fell off, then looked up.

"Where'd she go?"

-It's of no consequence to you, Logan,- the professor came in as the truck slowed to a stop, then turned and left.

Bobby looked bewildered, then leaned over and got sick.

"I've got him," Hank sighed, leaping down to the boy's side and picking him up. "I shall also allow the children out of the Danger Room."

Joy followed the jeep till she was satisfied that it and the others that had been hidden around the estate were really leaving, then returned and dove in to land on the chest of one of the fallen Sentinals, where she calmly ripped the panel off and started pulling out wires.

"You know darlin', I think we decommisioned it pretty good," Logan smirked as the others left.
