Sal's Universe, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sal sneezes, wondering if she doesn't have a slight allergy to Kurt's bamf-smoke, and looks around. Sure enough, it was Las Vegas. Fremont Street's overhead screens glittered with scenes of fireworks and flashing lights. It was energizing and exciting.
"Oh wow," she said, looking at the sheer mass of light around her. Port aux Basques it wasn't. This was an amazing place that was just alive.
And here was where she was going to get married.
The prospect was quite thrilling; but she wondered if this wasn't entirely hokey.
But all it took really was to turn to Kurt and simply look at him and know that this was exactly what she wanted. She could see the lights reflected in his monochromatic yet very expressive eyes.
"I don't even have a hairbrush," she muttered to herself, feeling suddenly very homely and in no fit state to be wed.

"So..."
The spectacle was overwhelming, and she felt tears of joy coming on. She blinked and bowed her head to hide them.

She climbed in and looked around. First a dress, then the flowers, and now a limousine. Her head was spinning again.

It wasn't that she was in a rush, or impatient (Okay. She was impatient.). But she seriously thought that she would throw up from the sheer anticipation of it all.
She just holds his hand in between hers and rests her head on his chest.
Thank you, she thinks fervently. For everything.

She looked down at the proofs she held in her free hand. "Still, they should be some nice when they arrives, eh?"

She stares at her hand, and then back up at him, suddenly mortified that she's got nothing for him. She bites her lip and looks at him apologetically, eyes swimming.

Straightening up, she hands off the pen. "I hate to throw water on this, but what'd you have in mind for dinner? Now that the nerves are all gone, I'm some hungry."

Much food later...
The meal had been simply divine; and after the lobster, she'd elected to have a piece of the restaurant's signature chocolate cake. She was feeling just a little uncomfortably full. Add into the equation that she had no idea how many glasses of wine she'd had and she was feeling a little odd.
"I need to know something," she said, head cocking to the side as she grinned widely.
