Sal sneezes, wondering if she doesn't have a slight allergy to Kurt's bamf-smoke, and looks around. Sure enough, it was Las Vegas. Fremont Street's overhead screens glittered with scenes of fireworks and flashing lights. It was energizing and exciting.

"Oh wow," she said, looking at the sheer mass of light around her. Port aux Basques it wasn't. This was an amazing place that was just alive.

And here was where she was going to get married.

The prospect was quite thrilling; but she wondered if this wasn't entirely hokey.

But all it took really was to turn to Kurt and simply look at him and know that this was exactly what she wanted. She could see the lights reflected in his monochromatic yet very expressive eyes.

"I don't even have a hairbrush," she muttered to herself, feeling suddenly very homely and in no fit state to be wed.

"Wow," she whispers.

She stares at her hand, and then back up at him, suddenly mortified that she's got nothing for him. She bites her lip and looks at him apologetically, eyes swimming.

"By the power invested in me by the state of Nevada I prononce you man and wife. You can seal the agreement with a kiss," said Pastor Leeanne, overlooking the woe on Sal's face.

Kurt grinned and wriggled his eyebrows.

She scoffed at the look on his face, but stepped closer to him nonetheless, pausing only for a split second before putting her arms around him kissing him thoroughly.

...and we're married. Whoa.

-Meine frau,- he thought with awe as he returned the kiss. -Meine vife. Oh, Got sie Danke....- He gasped and broke away as his knees threatened to give out.

She blushed and laughed quietly, refusing to let go of his hands.

Speech had failed her, so she just stood there and beamed.

Kurt tried to tell her how he felt, tried to remember the words, but his English had suddenly totally deserted him and all he could do was a low stream of fervent German.

She had no idea what he was saying. So she simply stood close and embraced him again.

A few moments passed before she whispered into his ear, "So now what?"

"Dinner," he said softly, smoothing her hair and murdering the do a bit. "Und then home or a hotel."

"Sounds good to me," she said. "But let's stay here tonight, hm?"

She didn't want to go home.

"Ja." He looked up as the pastor cleared her throat and blushed. "Ach, yes, ve must sign the license."

"Right." She laughs. "Ye'd think we'd remember after last week, eh?"
